School of Christian Thought Christian Service Scholarship

Purpose:
Houston Christian University's School of Christian Thought is pleased to announce a new scholarship opportunity for students interested in being trailblazers for Christ by establishing the Christian Service Scholarship.

Eligibility Requirements for Scholarships Offered:

Full-time students majoring in BA-MDiv, Biblical Languages, Biblical Studies, Christian Ministry, Classics, and Theological Studies.
Commitment to service and leadership in the Church.

Christian Service Scholarship Additional Requirements:

Residential students may qualify for this scholarship opportunity.
Recipient must be a new and incoming freshmen or transfer student to HCU.
Recipient must be someone who is a dedicated Christian.
Recipient must be an active member of a church.
Recipient must have a letter of recommendation from their pastor.

Requirements to Maintain Scholarship:.

Students who are awarded the Christian Service Scholarship must maintain a minimum of a 3.0 cumulative GPA at HCU.
